How We Started
The idea for Crew Works was born in the fall of 2022, inspired by a vision to bring construction crews together and simplify the way teams operate. Now this dream has become a reality.

Crew Works is built for construction pros ready to take their teams to the next level. From solo crew leaders to companies with growing workforces, our project management and collaboration tools help you keep every project on track and every team member in sync.

Our mission is to empower Crew Entrepreneurs throughout every stage of the construction lifecycle. From the moment the first shovel breaks ground to the ribbon cutting ceremony, we provide the software infrastructure that keeps projects moving and teams connected, ensuring success from start to finish.
Meet the Crew
Founder & CEO
Tyler Ornelas
Tyler was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. His formal training includes an Associates of Computer Science from Scottsdale Community College, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University. He considers himself an entrepreneur at heart, and has always loved building businesses and creating solutions that bring joy, growth, and inspiration to people.
Founder & CSO
James Patton
James was born in Mesa but raised in Phoenix, Arizona with career solely in sales, starting at personal training, and currently in the insurance industry. Connecting with people and finding value in building relationships, he’s always been into entrepreneurship since a young age, trying to become a leader for the younger generations to come.
Founder & CTO
Mark Clemmer
Mark grew up in Kent, Washington, just outside of Seattle. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Seattle Pacific University and has since carved out a path as a software developer, cloud architect, and marketer. Whether he’s developing code for software or hardware products, he always seeks to build innovative solutions that will help others.
